Three Faculty Elected to National Academy of Medicine

Three U-M faculty have been elected to the National Academy of Medicine (NAM): Rebecca Cunningham, M.D., the William G. Barsan Collegiate Professor of Emergency Medicine in the Medical School, professor of health behavior and health education in the School of Public Health, and interim U-M vice president for research; James Dalton, Ph.D., dean of the College of Pharmacy and professor of pharmaceutical sciences; and Gabriel Nuñez, M.D., the Paul de Kruif Endowed Professor of Academic Pathology. Fifty-three other current and emeritus faculty, and living former faculty, are also members of NAM, the highest honorary society in the U.S. for medicine and health researchers.
